Whispers conducts its monthly meetings at the Community Building on Rays Bridge Road.

We hope you will join us for our March Luncheon. The speaker will be Ms. Terri Prots, Director of the Moore County Department of Aging. Terri Prots has been the Director for the last 25 years. She has a master’s degree in Gerontology from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. She will be discussing the services available to seniors through the Moore County Department of Aging. The services include Nutrition, Medical Transportation, In-Home Aide services, Family Caregiver support and the Senior Enrichment Center.

We will also be collecting donated bags of candy for the Village of WP Easter Egg Hunt. Candy needs to be individually wrapped and can fit into a plastic egg. We will have an Easter card for those donating to sign.

We hope you will join us for lunch starting at 11:30 AM. The luncheon will include be catered by Filly & Colt’s and the menu will include Pork Roast, Mashed Potatoes, Mac N Cheese, Green Beans, Salad, Coconut Cake along with tea/coffee. We will also be hosting a 50/50 drawing.
